Moon FlyBys

Ganymede Flyby
This figure provides a trace of the ground track as Juno flew past Ganymede on June 7, 2021, prior to the 34th perijove.  The track is colored as a function of altitude from the moon’s surface, see the legend, with a minimum flyby altitude of 1046 km.  West longitude increases to the left of the prime meridian (in the center of the figure).

Europa Flyby
This figure provides a trace of the ground track as Juno flew past Europa on September 29, 2022, prior to the 45th perijove.  The track is colored as a function of altitude from the moon’s surface, see the legend, with a minimum flyby altitude of 354 km. West longitude increases to the left of the prime meridian (in the center of the figure).

Io Flyby
This figure provides a trace of the predicted ground track when Juno spacecraft is scheduled to fly past Io on December 30, 2023, prior to the 57th perijove.  The track is colored as a function of altitude from the moon’s surface, see the legend, with a minimum predicted flyby altitude of ~1500 km.  West longitude increases to the left of the prime meridian (in the center of the figure).

Io Flyby
This figure provides a trace of the predicted ground track when Juno is scheduled to fly past Io on February 3, 2024, prior to the 58th perijove.  The track is colored as a function of altitude from the moon’s surface, see the legend, with a minimum predicted flyby altitude of ~1500 km.  West longitude increases to the left of the prime meridian (in the center of the figure).
* predicted, subject to change.
