Description
RGB data. Imaged Jupiter August 26th. There was a mostly thin veil of cloud from horizon to horizon but the seeing was steady and a surprising level of detail could be seen across the planet at all wavelengths. All data was captured through cloud with only the Ch4 seemingly suffering from it. The NTrZ outburst is very well resolved, particularly so in the 685nm IR, R, G & B data; it almost looks like a comet head with a split tail. I note a prominent small red oval on the Southern edge of the NPR with a line up of four v-small dark spots below along the NNTeB. Structure within the NEB is well resolved as are four dark features along the Southern edge of the NEB associated with festoons in the EZ. Circulation can be seen within the GRS with the trailing disturbed region well resolved. Oval BA is well seen as is the disturbed region immediately following it and the formation of three white ovals in the SSTeB is very well resolved. A v-thin dark dash is well resolved leading the formation of white ovals on the Northern edge of the SPR.
