At the bottom of Io in this image is a nicely illuminated volcanic plume.

Also, the night-side of Io is slightly visible thanks to Jupiter-shine.

Altitude: 11645 km (above Io)

A 0.5 gamma adjustment was done to brighten the dark areas (which also increases visibility of instrument artifacts and radiation hits in empty space surrounding Io.)
