Perijove 12, early outbound sequence

The images have been reprojected to the respective image stop time.

Beginning with images showing the Great Red Spot vanishing behind the limb, the south polar region with its almost circular cyclones comes into view.

Besides the previously known five circumpolar cyclones (CPC) around the south polar cyclone, a pretty large anticyclone is interacting heavily with one of the CPCs.

In a gap between the CPCs, a new cyclonic feature appears to be establishing.

One of the CPCs is in mostly in the shadow in the early part of the sequence, and hard to distinguish, after Jupiter's rotation is slowly moving it onto the Jupiter's sunlit hemispheroid.
