The central of the three images is a stack of four methane images colorized with the right RGB image. The south polar cap is much brighter in the 890 nm methane band than it is in visible RGB images.

All images have been reprojected to Juno's trajectory position at ISO time 2018-04-01T10:15:00.000.

The stacked methane band image is brightness stretched in a monotonic, but nonlinear way. Hue and saturation are taken from PJ12 RGB image #099.

Portions of the methane band image are invalid. The image stack tried to find a best compromise between image cleaning and coverage of valid area.

The RGB images are mostly illumination adjusted, and enhanced by applying a gamma of 4.0 with respect to radiometric data.
