This is a modified version of Gerald Eichstädt’s animation of projected PJ-3 images centred on the South Pole, covering 3.3 hours. Because the projections were not strictly polar, I have applied arbitrary re-scaling and shearing of the images to visually improve the alignment. (There may still be some distortions.)

The animation beautifully shows the circumpolar cyclones (CPCs) and, for the first time, their clockwise circulations! Moreover, as it covers one-third of a jovian day, the CPCs are revealed all around the pole, and there are indeed 6 CPCs, 5 being symmetrically placed around the sixth, central, dark one.
