An enhanced map-projected mosaic of PJ22 images 39 to 43 showing the convective area west of the Great Red Spot (GRS). The GRS was at the limb in the original images. Therefore it is only partially visible here and also the areas near it appear fuzzy. Despite this relatively unfavorable viewing geometry, considerable details are visible in the convective area west of the GRS. It is obvious that the convective area is still active. This is an improved version of an earlier mosaic.
