Haze bands are especially prominent in the PJ25 images. This is a heavily processed image from the PJ25_18 raw framelets. The image has been processed to greatly increase the visibility of haze bands. The processing parameters differ for different parts of the image. The contrast and color enhancement is strongest near the long haze band.

An extremely long haze band is clearly visible. It extends over at least 140 degrees of longitude. At upper right the long band consists of one component but then gradually becomes double. More components have appeared below center and to the west - there at least three and possibly four components are visible. The northernmost component is by far brightest and extends to the west where it eventually ends or (more probably) disappears beyond the limb.

The top of the image appears very noisy due to the faint illumination near the terminator.

Latitudes in this image are planetographic and longitudes System III.
