A little bit right of the center of the image, a greyish rounded core is located around the center of a north polar cyclone.

It shows a distinct bright filament. The filament is spriraling inward in a clockwise sense like the bright anticylone left of the cyclone.

The filaments around the large cyclone near the center of the image spiral inward in a counterclockwise sense indicating the morphology of a cyclone.

The anticyclonic morphology of the core indicates, that it is either rotating slower than its surroundings, or even anticyclonic.

The dark eddies within the cyclone show a cyclonic morphology.
