Roll With It

I'm fascinated by the marbleized look of Jupiter's layers—how things roll together without mixing—flow individually at different speeds in close proximity as if separated by cellophane (I submitted ID825 re: Langmuir flows.) I extracted data from each of the R, G, and B images to build this abstract, false-color image, which I think has an interesting depth and texture. The source images have not been moved or rotated.
