    The white oval looks like a cyclonic storm in the northern hemisphere. The white strand below the oval may be from upwelling currents, possibly feeding the storm above. The dark area below may be downwelling currents, a horizontal rolling (standing gravity wave)? The source of these turbulent structures may be from the upwelling zone below that rotates around Jupiter. The zones and bands are coriolis induced where white is upwelling and red is downwelling. No banding near the poles because coriolis is so strong?
