It is a visibly energetic transitional zone between two band structures showing turbulence. This suggests a deeper structure of potential vertical convection from the lower pressures, and may have correlative UV/Magnetic/Gravimetric features as well. I'm interested in seeing if there are fractal fibonacci structures as well in the tails of the currents.

Fractal Fibonacci features are very interesting to study. My prediction is to see them in the low pressure zones like this area.
