About This Round
The Juno orbit continues to evolve to the midnight orientation so the equatorial images are off to the side. We have a good view of the night side on approach so we are doing long exposures to look for lightning. The perijove point is also moving to more northerly latitudes. The north pole is in winter darkness - that combined with the fact that the spacecraft is moving closer means that the north polar views are very narrow. In contrast we have a long duration view of the south pole as the spacecraft recedes from Jupiter.
