Description
Here is an image of Jupiter in the night of 24-Mar-2016, obtained during an observation period of 26 minutes, under good seeing and good transparency. Near the central meridian the Great Red Spot (GRS) is observed, which presents a very intense red color, with an even redder center, and are observed atmospheric disturbances behind it (left). In addition, are observed some features within the GRS. Particularly interesting is the breakdown of the NEB toward the equatorial zone, north of the GRS. Ahead of the red spot are observed two spots of dark brown, on the southern edge of the SEB. Further south are observed the white ovals A2-A3-A4-A5, and is observed the new red spot in the SPB. In the northern hemisphere the NEB is darker than SEB. The WSZ is observed with quite brightness, on the northern edge of the NEB. Those two strips bluish are interesting in the NTropZ, which are located in slightly different latitudes or possible break.
