Description
685nm IR data. Imaged Jupiter July 21st in good seeing but poor transparency. All data was captured through a veil of cloud which dropped the histogram 30 to 40% lower than normal. Even though the live feed was dimmer than normal very fine detail was still quite apparent. Have a small bright elongated oval well resolved in the NNTB. Several tiny dark spots are resolved along the NTB with quite intricate structure resolved within the NEB. A prominent dark festoon extends back into the EZ from the Northern edge of the NEB. Fine detail is resolved in a band along the Northern edge of the SEB. Two small bright ovals are resolved in the SSTB. Quite surprising to see this level of detail through the cloud.
